Next Steps & National Night Out

Tuesday, April 29, 2025 (10:00 AM - 11:00 AM) (EDT)

Description

Your voice, ideas, and involvement are essential to the success of the Main Street Louisa initiative and the future of the Town of Louisa.

We invite you to join us on Monday, April 29 at 10:00 AM at the Louisa County Chamber of Commerce office for a collaborative, working session focused on how we can attract more residents and visitors to town, support our local businesses, and lift up the heart of our community.

We’ll be joined by Sergeant Matt Fallon of the Louisa Police Department, lead organizer for National Night Out—an event that recently earned national recognition, ranking 13th in the country among towns under 5,000 and one of only three recognized in Virginia. Together, we’ll explore how this event can be a powerful platform to bring more life and foot traffic into town.

In addition, we’ll discuss what it will take to build a strong, active team to help move our 3-year Main Street action plan forward—or refine it based on current opportunities and capacity.

We’re here to facilitate—but it’s the collective leadership of community members like you that will truly drive this forward. Whether you’re ready to get involved or just want to learn more, we hope you’ll be at the table.
