Ohana Horse Farm – Where Connection Leads the Way

Ohana Horse Farm is a private, family-owned equestrian facility nestled in the heart of Louisa, Virginia. Founded and operated by Kim Bryson, a retired mounted police officer and seasoned horsewoman with over 30 years of experience, Ohana Horse Farm is a place where horses, healing, and horsemanship come together.

Rooted in the belief that meaningful connections begin from the ground up, Ohana specializes in equine-facilitated learning, groundwork-based training, obstacle challenges, riding lessons, training, and therapeutic horse-human interactions. Our farm is not just a place to ride — it’s a place to grow, reflect, and thrive.

We proudly offer:

• Equine Experiential Education for youth, families, corporate teams, and community groups
• Groundwork & Obstacle Training Clinics focused on leadership, trust, and communication
• Therapeutic Services for individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, or emotional growth journeys
• Educational Programs like the Junior Vet Tech Explorer series, literacy-based horse learning, and seasonal animal enrichment workshops like Horse & Hop programs
• Natural Horse Care & Rehabilitation, including cryotherapy and laser therapy
• Special Events such as Play Days, Equine Explorers Club, and culturally reflective programs. 

Ohana, meaning “family” in Hawaiian, reflects our core philosophy: every visitor, horse, and student who walks through our gate becomes part of our extended herd. We believe in fostering resilience, respect, and relationship — with animals, nature, and each other.
