Cooling Pond Brewery to Host First-Ever Shuckin’ Shindig Oyster Roast

November 6 event to benefit the Louisa Forward Foundation and celebrate 98 years of Chamber legacy

Louisa, VA — Cooling Pond Brewery is firing up the pits and cracking open the shells for the first-ever Shuckin’ Shindig Oyster Roast, set for Thursday, November 6 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at the brewery. This unique, hands-on event will feature unlimited fire-roasted oysters, craft beer specials, local wine and cider, and a one-of-a-kind community atmosphere — all while raising funds to support the programs of the Louisa Forward Foundation, the charitable partner of the Louisa County Chamber of Commerce.

Guests will gather around rustic fire pits to roast, toast, and shuck their own oysters, with tools and shucking knives provided onsite. The experience will also include sides and non-oyster alternatives to ensure everyone can join in the fun.
